Marketplace lending (also known as online lending) in Vietnam is emerging at an incredibly rapid pace. This fertile business sector attracts lots of investors, both local and foreign, and has disrupted the conventional market which is heavily reliant on bricks and mortar financial institutions. Nonetheless, the development of marketplace lending is not currently being followed by an equivalent cohesive set of regulations.
